I didnt mean Varney (I dont rate him) but Norris and Green are strong characters who will combine to win matches for us
I didn't want Warnock in the first place, and what he has done so far has not change that at all But there is still some time to change that with some exceptional signings. And not to piss in your pond, but there is no takeover
Simon agree mate to be fair I did say "Need a couple of flair players (templeton n dobbie would be nice) and Ill be happy." which is basically what youre saying.
The level of signings, & by extension, an increase in the wages bill as things currently stand suggests the takeover will happen. Its just taking soooo long.
Warnock said he needs 2 maybe 3 excellent signings - I believe his maybe 3 comment was based on IF snoddy left. I assume one winger, one striker and a right back however that will still leave us light in defence.. Defenders - Bromby, Kissa, Lees, Pearce, Drury with two of those being a doubt with injuries (white can cover LB I know) Central Midfield - Austin, Brown, Green, Norris Wide Players - Varney, White, Rogers, Pugh I hope we don't see Austin being played out of position in the back 4
Norway, sorry buddy but what makes you think that? Warnock has said he has spoke to these guys, LUST have confirmed its a consortuim buy out not investment (who would trust Bates with there money) and Bates put an offical message on our LUFC website saying DD is underway. Bates wont turn his books over for anyone to invest its a buy out with a price already agreed. He is stalling for something. Maybe the snod money to clear? Once he has signed the owners can then make themselves known I assume. Dont forget there are NDA's in place. something will give soon as program notes will need to be written!
Due Dilligence means its a substantial amount of the company being invested in, cant see them wanting 30% (minimum investment to need due dilligence) and let bates be the majority
No chance he will stay on other than a minority share holder without control. If he believes that the new owners will invest enough to take us up to the prem he will want to hold onto some shares to sell back when we go up. I think this will be the sticking point as he is probably not wanted.
Sorry Ristac, can't agree that Pugh should be considered a wide player. He's a CM, playing on the left of a tight 3, or a left back. IMHO, that is!
I wouldn't even put him on the bench Whitejock and I fail to see where he can fit in unless we are ravaged by injuries. I only placed him down as a wide player as I can't see where else Warnock will see him slotting in. Before Snoddy leaving I couldn't see White starting, with White on the bench Pugh wouldn't even make that IMHO If Warnock see's Varney as replacing Snoddy I am guessing Varney, White, Rogers any two of unless we get one of the icing on a cake players.
david norris, 31, he might just see us go into the non league if we keep getting rid of players we need
