N'Gog isn't worth half a crown. He's complete ****. He doesn't score goals and won't score goals. He is no ****ing use. Why are you talking this useless ****er Bruce you simple minded ****ing idiot?

At least N'Gog will be able to blame the supply line with Elmoshowaddywaddy supplying the crosses. Bruce will turn us into Huddersfield Town before Quinn has the sense to sack the useless bastard. I am ****ing furious.

Saw a LFC comment rating N'gog at £5m as being a fair valuation. probs about right.

Nobody on the not606 LFC forum has called him ****e. Opinions are mixed, obviously. here are some more reasonable ones;

under rated, over criticised, holds up play well, DOES have a bit of pace and fans should get off his back, he performed OK when the whole team was doing ****e, he was under ****e management and was expected to lead our frontline alone, not got a sniff since we have been playing well due to kuyt, carroll and suarez

Actually, i think he could do well at Sunderland if they give him a decent crack at it. i always thought he showed signs of brilliance and at times his finishing can be lethal. if he can get a bit more consistency you could have a decent player, and yes, he is still young. i'm sure given first team play, he can at least be worth more than you're getting him for. i think 5m would be a fair price.

A 4th striker thrown in as 2nd striker last year and left alone when Torres got injured. Never whined, never tweeted, just put his head down and kept improving steadily. For that reason he's worth a punt to realise his potential.
He's 22 and was out top scorer for a good while this season. He took all the blame for some Europa performances that were universally creditless, even under Kenny. No credit for keeping us in it early doors, though.
He'll be a Zamora-type player, which is why he thrived under Hodgson. He won't be a superstar like Carroll but we paid less than £2m for Ngog and I heard his fee was going to be £8m so the club think he's improved, too.

I am not defending the decision or the price tag, but neither am I cutting a length of rope and looking for a sturdy rafter!

He has potential but we never really gave him much of a chance. He may well fit in perfectly at a club where he may get more starts, and he is still young. If i were you guys i would be optimistic about him joining (if he does!).

This shows his potential - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIvpT7JG4Ds (not the best quality clip but the goal was class)
