Aye he inherited a team What lost 1 in 12 games and only 4 defeats in the whole second half of the season ****ing plank.
I'd argue we were in the best position we have been since the Reid days. Sam put a real platform in place which shouldn't have been too difficult to push on from. Unfortunately, Moyes set about dismantling it pretty much as soon as he arrived.
Aye Moyes was **** but why are people pretending our squad was anything other than the worst on the league. Squad ending last season after the loans went back was that worst we've had since coming back up, lacked identity and philosophy what is more, we still lacked the essential components to play any style of football, yes even long ****ing ball. Nobody can tell me that a team who can't even play long ball are in any other shape than relegation fodder. What's more it need 100m to sort out. I ****ing hate the way some of you lot will essentially big up Short to put Moyes down. It's disgusting, the man has absolutely destroyed our club from top to bottom. Where's the self respect. Moyes is ****, The squad is ****, the owner is ****. There, It's not hard to damn it all, but making excuses for ****ing short man. Shameful. Like that old **** who thinks the **** from Shorts his arse is quite fantastic. Pathetic.
Who is sticking up for short? I wanted rid years ago. I remember arguing with relic about him. Shorts Number 1 fan that bloke was Our squad was poor but Mr moyes just needed to sign yedlin and n'villa to keep our first team together. Then bring it squad players. The bloke didn't really have a hard job really. You may think he did but I don't pal.
Given that you bit, it says it all. I didn't mention your name did I? knew you'd pipe up. You're playing up the state of the of the place before Moyes took over, to put Moyes down. It was diabolical. Tell the truth. Stop over rating our situation, that's pandering to Short as far as I'm concerned, it's defelecting the blame, everyone needs to take responsibility imo, rather than pretending things were in some way better. We were **** under Sam, tightened up eventually off the back of Kone and Kaboul finding an understanding but even that would have been ruined under Sam as Kaboul wanted to be based in London and not even Sam could deliver that to him. We bid for both Papy and Ndong while Sam was here(We bid of Papy window before and the transfer was clearly in motion when Sam left and Lorient have confirmed we made our first bid Ndong right at the start of the window) So Sam was still blowing the most of his budget on these two players. The place was a mess when Sam was in charge, marginaly better aye but that of very little comfort and hardly fit to be used as a weapon. Shorts fault, I've got more self respect than to big up the place at that time just to take a pop at the current manager and situation. We were going down with or without Sam sooner of later because the business as a whole is unsustainable, this was being reflected on the pitch following a clear as day pattern of deterioration in investment and playing quality at our disposal. I don't need to overplay the Short ****storm that predated Moyes to say he's ****. Moyes is ****, and so is the club. It's not hard, stop making excuses man.
Haven't bit at all. Just asking who is sticking up for short? You saying sam wanted papy? Mr young from the sunderland echo said Sam wasn't interested in him. We started off **** with Sam but he sorted it out. 1 defeat in 12 and 4 defeats in the whole second half of the season . Some of them defeats we shouldn't of been beat. Remember the home game against man city. We was easy the better team and if it wasnt for Hart we would of won. You can call it **** all you want but he had the team strong and not a push over. I do believe we would of stayed up with sam. That's my opinion and you got yours.
He did want Papy, Sam himself tried to get him the window before but he choose Chelsea. It was common knowledge, all over the papers. I thought you had a bit of knowledge on football but if you think Moyes could assess his squad, identify the position, scout the player, trigger negotiations, complete negotiations, agree personal terms, pre book a medical, carry out the medical and sign on the dotted line in 13 days, then I take it all back. Scouting alone would longer than that. Just would not happen. Sam wanted him. Clearly, it's way beyond logical. Never seen these Christ Young Quotes like and I follow him closely on twitter. Had a google and can't find them either. We do have our opinions, we may have stayed up with him, we may not, may have been this year, may have been next, but we were always going down sooner of later because the way the club was being ran was effecting any chance of positive evolution on the pitch.
Wasn't that kone who he wanted at West ham? The only time we was link with papy was under dick. Moyes knew what we needed. The bloke said he thought we would of went down last year. He was out of work for months so he could of scout players then. If I was out of work then I would of scouted some players for my next club. This is the only thing I can find about papy. Read it somewhere and I have a proper look when I get in
He nearly pulled out of the move when Sam left, Moyes had to ring him and convince him he'd feature in his plans still joined. Plus Moyes was working in Africa when you claim he should have been scouting player for a job he didn't have and for players he didn't know he needed. BTW, you need to use french search engines and a vpn to find the links from when he joined chelsea over us and Bournemouth. Best you'll find on our search engines is the Mirror mistranslating a french article saying us and Bournemouth turned him down when it was in fact the other way around. Nightmare to find. Balls if i'm doing that again, there's a reason we left it to Andy at roker report. We were linked under Dick, but then so was half the league at the time as his agent was trying to get him a move to the country.
