Do you reckon the man u fans ( or players for that matter ) would rather get beat of us as that is not to embarrasing for them as we have already beat city or do you think they would prefer to get through to the final and get hammered of city and have the piss took out of them for ever.
I disagree with you there Billy. What was needed was someone totally different to Ferguson, in my opinion. Moyes is like the Aldi substitute for M&S Fergie ........ the players must be thinking, "Hang on, this bloke who's never won a thing in his life and he's telling last season's title winners where we're going wrong." He's too much like Ferguson in every way other than success and everyone knows the real deal is sitting a few yards away. It would be like having Ben Dover watching you while you're banging a porn star
Manchester United boss David Moyes has accepted an FA charge of misconduct following his comments about match officials in the Capital One Cup defeat at Sunderland. Moyes will now face a fine or warning after a disciplinary hearing, which he has chosen not to attend. He was charged after claiming United "were playing referees as well as the opposition" following his side's third straight defeat, in which he was irritated by referee Andre Marriner's award of a free-kick - from which United conceded - and what proved the match-winning penalty to Sunderland. He suggested his side had endured a run of bad decisions, a situation he described as "terrible", adding they were "actually beginning to laugh" at officials' decisions. The FA charged Moyes on the grounds that his remarks "allegedly called into question the integrity of the match officials appointed to that fixture and/or appointed to Manchester United fixtures generally, and/or implied that such match officials are motivated by bias; and/or brought the game into disrepute, in contravention of Rule E3(1) http://www1.skysports.com/football/...ge-following-comments-after-sunderland-defeat
"I'm disappointed but we didn't play well enough to merit going through. They deserved it." Much more gracious comments after the second leg from Davie Moyes
