I actually feel very bad for Moyes, I feel he has given his all in his time with us, and whilst results haven't been great he has my respect. I don't know wether he will be sacked for certain, but if he stays Il support him
Ironic it's the senior players that went running to Fergie when they in fact they have been piss poor all season. Maybe they are unhappy because Moyes is prepared to wield the axe on the ageing squad and replace the likes of Vidic, Rio and Evra. Interesting though that the article suggests that Giggs input is ignored. That is downright stupid by Moyes if true.
Don't really agree with that Valley, even after all the earlier results where they lost he sang their praises in his post match interviews, it was only after the Everton game I saw him single out player's for criticism.
Evra, carrick, young, Valencia etc have been very poor this season. Moyes outburst yesterday looked like a parting shot at the players. It's plain to see he's had enough. The players need to shoulder their fair share of responsibility. Everyone knew this would be a very difficult season, and the Utd players have let themselves and Moyes down for me. Edit, didn't mean to type Vidic.
If as looks likely he goes tomorrow its only fair that Neville goes with him, if Phil is kept on and chooses not to walk he's a ****.
He looked happy enough watching his sister playing tonight on SSN. But agree, the entire coaching staff bar Giggs will have to go. Makes you wonder why he bothered having Giggs as a coach if he allegedly ignored and isolated him.
And the supporters. I don`t think Moyes has helped himself with most of his interviews, all he tends to say is we played very well but had some bad luck, we will try again next game. Fergie used to come out with comments like "we were poor today and we won`t play like that next game i can tell you"
It could be thought that adding Giggs to the coaching staff was an attempt to keep others on-side, both players and supporters.
Looking in hindsight, his interviews seem to suggest that he was trying to win back the dressing room. It also hasn't helped that the likes of Rio and RVP have spat their dummies out in public via twitter etc this season and some have been photographed on the piss in the middle of the week. Unfortunately for Moyes, he's taking the full brunt of the lack of investment in the Utd squad over the past 8 years or so. He tried to do this in the summer and Ed Woodward let him down big time in not getting Fabregas, Herrera etc, so if Moyes goes, Woodward should tender his resignation for the bollocks he dropped last summer. Look how well Coleman and Baines have been again this season. They'd walk into the Utd team, Moyes knew that, but Woodward messed everything up.
But was Giggs promotion to the coaching staff made a must by Fergie before Moyes got the job or was it Moyes seeking favour amongst the Utd support?
Must have been a Fergie recommendation. After all, Giggs was involved in the meetings before Moyes officially took over when they and Fergie were discussing Rooney etc
Don't you remember the press showing them meeting in hotels etc at Alderley Edge. Think it was reported in the Sun.
Is Gary trying to keep his bro in a job or does he believe Moyes is da man? [h=1]Gary Neville on David Moyes: Man Utd should take different approach[/h] http://www1.skysports.com/football/...-moyes-man-utd-should-take-different-approach
Or maybe he can actually see that the players just aren't good enough to play for Utd. Look at the teams Neville has played in at Utd, none of them players today bar Giggs would get into the best 15 players he's played with at Utd. How many would get in the Liverpool, City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Everton sides. When you look from that aspect, that's where the problem lies.
But Gary Neville would never diss any player individually at Utd, he played in a fantastic Utd team but this team/squad at OT aren't a patch on them.
