Like I said in the Chelsea equivalent to this thread. Makes no odds when you play who, everyone has to play the same teams Twice. Moyes is just concerned that if he makes a bad start, he will begin to get pressure probably.
To be honest, I'd rather play the tough teams up front than after tough away CL matches. At least this way we're all on relatively equal footing. If we were to play Chelsea after CL matches where they had an easy home tie and we've just come back from travelling, that's a disadvantage. If we start slowly we start slowly, it's a long season, things will come right.
Pretty much. He gets everyone focused on the manager, distracts the fans and media, and sets expectations for if we do poorly in those first few games. And it's already working. Wonder if SAF gave him the idea?
Probably not from the United board, but definitely from plastic, fickle United fans. And United have their share of those
Im not saying we dont. All I am saying is that if Moyes loses more than 1 of his first 5 games, the fickles will come out with their banners. Mourinho has some currency at SB in that he is loved by the masses, which would buy him more time than any other manager.
Which is admirable Matth, but you know as well as I that there will be a certain contingent, however small, that will become very vocal, if for example, Utd are out of the top 3 or 10 points from the top after a dozen games.
I support Moyes 100%, unless he loses one of the first few matches. Then we need a change. In fact if we don't win at least 10 points from the first 4 games and a +8 goal difference I'm creating a Moyes Out thread. No pressure David
I've wanted Moyes out since it became apparent that Ronaldo wasn't coming back to United. I mean Fergie managed to sign Ronaldo!
it's not when you say it's rigged. The only games are in Moyes' mind. They had to assure him that the fixture list process is above board, above board for the first time since the PL began #nofergie No one will even remember his fixture rant come the start of the season, do you really think anyone will remember this in 5 games in order for it to take any pressure off. Losing those 3 games City Chavsky and Liverpool however unlikely would put a whole heap of pressure on him and his doubters will be spitting feathers. Sorry for stepping out of my usual United lick arse character
of course he would complain about it after picking it, the usual deflect and deceive tactics "How could I pick the Fixtures when I've been giving out about them"
