Mick's interview definitely didn't kill the rumours, I think he'll be sold.

So long as it looks like we are doing something positive, like building a team around the young guns and actually let them get experience together to create something worthwhile.
As you say, there probably won't be any more permanent signings before the next window opens.

McCarthy's told the BBC Ipswich have TURNED DOWN a bid from #LCFC for McGoldrick "deal's not happened yet. I think they're still talking"

Makes sense, let's see how much your really prepared to buy him for, it's not like you haven't got the money now, is it?

Nothing less than £8mill, and you've got him cheap at that, his goals will certainly help you in the relegation battle ahead. <ok>

Surprised they found the time after spending all week counting their chickens.

£8M is a stupid amount to offer but if I was you while I would normally have snapped someone hand off for that we keep making 2nd and 3rd bids for the same player meaning you know if you reject our opening offer we will just come in with a bigger offer

Judging by what Mick said it looks like McGoldricks head might have been turned now

To be fair you paid 7million for that kid from Brighton who scored fewer goals last season than Goldy did! <ok>

Would have probably got 20 goals for us last season if he hadn't got injured, but untried at Prem level, he'd get a few for you though, and even if the worst come to the worst and you get relegated, would be an asset to you to get you promoted next season, especially after Prem experience...

    **** it, nothing less than £10 mill...<ok>;)

when I heard the price quoted I nearly went for a hearing test. Very good player for us but honestly I would accept half that. Its stupid money and I cant see how from a business point of view you can turn it down. I take it MM would have back up plans and if he doesn't it really does mean he is a poor manager. All managers have wish lists.

Moronic post du jour (amongst, it has to be said, some pretty stiff opposition)

I still hanker for the warky of old, I guess it's true that every dog has its day. <ok>

We're both on a **** football forum in the early hours, so that made me laugh.

    Thanks awfully for caring though.

(PS, come back warky, you were funny after all)
