What is good about the club? A promising economic future, continued participation in the champions league, a quite good squad (definitely not as good as we used to be by a distance but we are still about as good as liverpool) and the possibility that the FFP rules will change our fortunes. Please don't take this as me saying that you should be forced to be happy, you did just ask me to list the positives after all, but what I am saying is that it is not all bad. And no I do not think that is good enough for a club like us.
No it is not all bad Robin and credit to you for holding onto the good. I know that like us the so-called negatives, you too would like it to be better. No CL next year though would hurt us all and who knows for how long? FFP being of value to us is as you say, only a possibility. Quite honestly I don't see how it helps us. Bad defending is still bad defending, FFP or otherwise. An acute lack of investment, an inability to seal the deal on transfers or holding on to our key players, the absence of tactical flexibility - all these won't change because of FFP. They will only change is the management adopt different policies or they indeed are changed. Still though, we all live in hope of a better future. Enjoy your weekend
