Thats it, a good mix to keep everybody happy. The only thing I think that the BBC should use to improve coverage is to use an overseas analyst, they used Chandhok last year when he wasn't racing and I thought he was very good and describing things from a different angle.

DC has not done any proper commentating yet, so we don't know for sure if he is gunna be biased. There was a short moment last season were the commentators got DC's views on something and there was a crash/overtake that he continued the commentary on with Brundle. It was pretty good, albeit a little quite. Crofty and Davidson are very good commentators at FP, but at least give DC a chance.

And he is not reckless, he was very unlucky in his last season to be but around drivers that ran him all the time. He could pull of some very good overtakes (Schumacher and a Minardi, first corner, Brazil), but versus his team-mate, the reliability of his car was very poor, especially against Hakkinen, but El_Alonso_King won't be old enough to remember him

To say 'I think he crashed his car more than anyone' is a truly terrible statement, and proves you have only been watching recently. He has had 15 years in f1 (i think), and there are many drivers that are far more reckless in their 1 season, let alone a 15 career

For recklessness surely Takuma Sato has to be a contender? I think its harsh to criticise Coulthard for bias too. I know he mentions Red Bull a lot, but I get the impression that thats simply because thats where his experience is, and its where he knows exactly how things work. He's there for his experience and knowledge. Anyone can guess at how Ferrari is run, but Coulthard doesn't do that, because he provides quality information on Red Bull instead. You can't call him biased for only saying what he knows!
