OK, yes I really dislike this mouth piece. I detest the fact that this clown comments on our team in a biased, opinionated and utterly negative way. He spouts rubbish to the masses who listen to him and does nothing to improve the impression of our beloved team.

Thankfully all the debt talk has finally gone away thanks to Mr Allam and his family (Absolute Gentleman and someone to whom I will always be truely grateful)
So big gob Dave, for now, has beome less annoying, that said it won't be long before he starts creating stories to kid some clown in to ringing him up and talking to him to make it look like someone gives a damn.

Have any of you noticed that the vast majority of people who call into radio blunderside never go to games and always seem to be convinced that Burns & Co have accurately described what's gone on on the pitch?

Now, if this was 606 this message would be removed within seconds :laugh::laugh::laugh:

I think somebody needs to get sending incriminating videos of David Burns to Blunderside or Look North, maybe there's one of him telling Lizzie Rose to tuck him in or something.
 
A small time hack who would do just as bad a job whether he was covering hatches, matches and scratches with the Spittletown Weekly Advertiser or Bottleville Rovers on the airwaves at Radio Smashy. Apparently qualified to comment on our club's finances as he proudly boasts a BA (Hons) in Business Studies presumably from some former second rate higher education college in am obscure inner city enclave. Too easy to believe his own publicity to be a Professional and adequately protected by the BBC gravy train.
 
He was singing the praises for City throughout the second half of the promotion season & first year in Premiership (enjoying the increased audience no doubt). Seemed passionate about the Club at that point!
He says he is putting an impartial view across, But to me has now gone over to the 'dark side' in commenting about City.... comes across now as always highlighting the negatives & skating across the positives.

I think he's missed a trick keeping City Fans onside supporting his station!
 
Does anyone still listen to sportstalk?
I havn't myself for a while, have I missed anything?
Is it still poor?
Why is it now only for 50 minutes?
 
'HIS' station would be seriously challenged if the West Hull Radio station were ever to get a license to broadcast commentaries and gain funds to lift their professionalism.

It's like listening to someone's living room conversation. The guests' passion and knowledge make that show, although I think the bandwidth is limited as I couldn't get a feed one week and I can't imagine there are that many people listening in. I also like the "if you'd like to contact us, please do it during the adverts" line. It's like listening to vinyl in an age of mp3s.
 
I don't usually listen , maybe sometimes after games , the 'fans' who text in are usually those who thought it was terrible but didn't go , couldn't listen to a load of rugby fans and that Gwilym Lloyd who is even worse than Burns

the same west hull radio who claimed an exclusive on air that bullard will never play again.burns, whos mole was AP who was giving him the state of citys cash probs.AP who knew bartlett had buggered up.burnsy whos gtting live on air exclusives off AP.

yup,how hard is it to get a twiitter feed going? ffs i can do it on me phone.
 
Kcfm have pulled the plug on covering the two rugby sides from today dont know about city yet.So no pressure on burnsey sportalk
 
His little dancing monkey boy Gollem Lloyd is worse. Opinionated but uniformed, someone whom believes talking louder and for longer constitutes establishing a valid point.

Worse still, the tone of his voice changes when he talks rugby league as he adopts the aire of someone that thinks they are talking with authority.

I am yet to hear a poorer broadcaster imo.
 
Don't listen to Radio Humberside because Burns and his sidekick Swanny are like Abbott and Costello when it comes to match commentry and summerising.

White rose tiger if this is the sort of posts that will be shown on here than i am afraid i will not be using the forum. although i did not post many times on 606 me and my young son would always sit down in front of our media center and chuckle away at the humorous posts put on by the community.

There was a lot to be said about the BBC and moderators although sometimes annoying they are there because some people can not stick to house rules and need policing.

You could look at this as a challenge and get your point out creatively taxing the old grey cells rather than offensively I will be in a minority here but i was taught not to swear in front of women and children and i dont you never know whos reading the posts.

Once people start seeing this sought of thing than like sheep others will follow and it will end up like the comments on some of the youtube vidioes rant over Alan.

That must be why Burnsy was declaring that his 'sources' were telling him the Allam's were not buying the club, at precisely the same time they were spending £40m on it.

Adam did say at the last Premier Club meeting that he enjoys hearing Burnsy's 'exclusives', as they're usually news to him.
