(if you can call the fat lazy bastards that)
Called it **** in so many words, I thought
It was good but what do I know...

From the Top 10 list we did, this time (12/1) last year. My top 10 Bowie songs, in order, favourite first.

    A sad day.

The music of Bowie/Spiders from Mars will be played and loved for as long as our civilisation lasts.

More's the shame that people who make the decisions do very little to recognise and celebrate our cities role in that.

Theme the whole of Queens Gardens around them I say. Make it an an attraction fans around the world would want to see.

This may be the first record I ever recall hearing.
    An under appreciated gem.

For me this is Bowies best song and and version of it. With Mick Ronson on lead and Queen as the backing band. (Venue WEMBLEY for the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert).

Add.... The Jean Genie - Rebel Rebel - Space Oddity - Sorrow - China Girl- Diamond Dogs - Golden Years - Modern Love - Oh! You Pretty Things - Sound and Vision - Suffragette City - Under Pressure and finally Ashes to Ashes you have the perfect Bowie playlist. imho.

Agreed. With no football tonight I shall dig this one out having not viewed it in years. David Bowie put in a great performance in this film.

What I found interesting was the dichotomy between David Bowie and The Spiders.

Strictly speaking it wasn't a dichotomy as there was one Bowie but many Spiders. Know what you mean though!

I think you can consider The Spiders as one group made up of three musicians.
