Not a bad call. The only reservation I'd have is that he's been away from the English game coaching in Florida for a few years but he seems the right sort.
 
TF's Tuesday good news story perhaps?
If not this Tuesday he could be saving this up for another Tuesday, which may become the new Thursday...
 
TF said they were looking to appoint a CEO in the next few weeks..not today.
But odd for Bardsley to tweet something so specific.
I know he is a football person, which is good...but not sure if he is right as as a CEO

Absolutely. Wouldn't consider him for the (vacant as far as I know) Finance Director role so why CEO. Does an organisation the size of QPR (not many more than 100 people, including all the players) actually need all these senior management positions? In addition to CEO, FD, we have Director of Football which covers 85%+ of all the activities of the club and I think a Chief Operating Officer who is doing the capital development stuff (i.e sitting around all day). Top heavy. May need the roles but not at director level.
 
Why would the club suddenly consider him for CEO, when he has being knocking on the door to help with the Youth set-up for years and has been, what appears to be, roundly ignored?

Yes, get him involved with the Youth set-up or the American branch of a feeder system, but not as CEO.

There is Nothing more I would like than the challenge of working as the CEO at QPR and helping the club behind the football scenes.

I will do it for half what he wants
