Rooney happened to be thinking about Barton at the time his elbow was thrusted into McCarthy's head so yet again it was Bartons fault for inspiring such a sickening attack.

Joey Barton should hang his head in shame, popping up in other players thoughts and influencing them in a way that causes their arms to fly out wildly and land on peoples faces.

He should be locked up for life and have the key thrown away.

I was so incensed when he made Rooneys elbow lash out I put my foot through the TV and kicked the dog to death.

We all know that the top four get the rules bent in their favour it would be interesting to have an actual impartial body involved that would actually investigate this kind of thing fairly. A footballing ombudsman that could actually do something, that would probably put a stop to a lot of it or at least scare the **** out of the FA until they realised that it didn't really make a difference. I'd like injury time to make a bit more sense personally, that and the top four to be automatically deducted 10 points at christmas every year for being smug...
