they expect to make money from Rangers?? idiots

I don't think that's necessarily so.

Laxey Partners, which is led by investment bankers Andrew Pegge and Colin Kingsworth, states on its website that it "conducts investments in companies which it feels are undervalued".

It has been described as an "activist shareholder" in various companies, where it has purchased a small stake and used its position to call for the removal of board members over poor performance of companies.

Basically, they sound like industrial fixers and will be there just to help Green (or someone else) punt folk off the board.

If their position is to unsettle board members on behalf of a partner, this sale yesterday coupled with Green's transfer to them in December gives Green (or whoever is using Green) a bigger wedge.

I think I'm the first tim to comment on this thread - not taking the piss but I would be well suspicious of this - Ticketus Mark II

I disagree with your assessment.

i) Green's transfer of shares to them is irrelevant. Even assuming they're allied with Green, a transfer of shares from Green to Green allies makes no difference to the balance of power.

ii) The perception is that some of the current members of the board are either corrupt and sucking the club dry, or are grossly incompetent. If this hedge fund helps to punt these people, so much the better.

So, you don't think it's a back door for the Easdales to come in with Green, buy out Ahmed's shares (he's still got 1.5mil shares or something) and be a controlling block to stop McColl and the likes?

I'd imagine Ahmed would be backing Green anyway, so buying his shares would leave the Green camp no further forward. In any case, there's no evidence that they'd back Green. As a hedge fund, they will only be interested in the share price going up and that won't happen while these shysters are on the board milking the club for all it's worth.

Who sold the two million shares though? I saw something in the Daily ****** today that said Green's lackey friend had two million shares in the club.

Unless McColl and co's demands are met an EGM must be called within the month . Green claims to have control of 20% of the shares . The share price has plummeted to less than half the price at the IPO .
Can there honestly be any of the remaining 80% of shareholders who don't want change at Rangers ? McColl isn't a mug . I'm sure he wouldn't have taken the steps he has if he didn't know he had the votes needed to win .

This is why Green is back . This is why he is talking ****e to anyine who will listen to him . His efforts to discredit McColl are embarrassing .

We want these spongers out of our club and we want audited accounts posted ASAP Let us see the truth .

If they are Greens shares then they haven't been sold yet . He has agreed to sell the shares but can't do it till December

Ahmed is working Green but he can't show his face at board meetings - it'll leave them much further forward if this enables a postponement of any EGM. Also, Green's semi-pariah status and position as "consultant" means he's practically limited in certain aspects of how he can control the board.

I'm interested in who you guys think are the "shysters" if it isn't Green, Ahmed and the Easdales?

Seriously, after all that's happened to your team over the last couple of years, I'm seriously gobsmacked if this doesn't worry you.

Dave King said that the only person who would be able to get any financial gain out of Rangers just now is an asset stripper.

I'll leave yeez to it, whole thing is a mess but these guys coming on board isn't a good thing for Rangers.

You're about to get ****ed again.
