I thought Dave Jones came across really well when asked all questions Cardiff. I know we are still paying him but there was no hint of bitterness; I think he backed city well when it was obvious eveybody else on the ****ing BBC wanted west Ham to win,

Thanks Dave

Yes, it seems it was a good job he was there to try and even out a very uneven BBC.
Bet they were hoping he would have a dig.

Problem with the so called pundits on the BBC is they no nothing about the championship and any team that gets relegated are still premiership quality so should destroy all the little clubs <steam>

Koby should be a BBC pundit as he also proved he knows f*ck all about f*ck all.

Dixon and Lawrenson are totally useless and got money for old jam today by turning up and making meaningless comments whilst clearly favouring West Ham. I hope their after match food consisted of lashings of humble pie. Although I expect their taste buds are as useless as their football knowledge.

Well done DJ to help balance things out when clearly outnumbered.

spot on cvd <ok>

I've never been anti-Jones but the past weeks interviews have shown him to be a decent guy and thoroughly professional.

Good luck to him

Dixon... I think Cardiff will struggle this season

DJ It might take WHU a few games to get used to the Championship

Dixon.. I think Cardiff will struggle this season

DJ Miller & Earnshaw will play on your shoulder they will be off side a few times but they are proven goal scorers it will only need one chance

Dixon I think Cardiff will struggle this season

I think Dixon will struggle to make an unbiased view this season.

dixon dont you mean prixson, he must have heard andy gray on talksport, have they actually seen what has been done in the close season, ok we lost some quality INDIVIDUALS but we have replaced with a team and still a couple more to come
Im more confident this season than last :1980_boogie_down::1980_boogie_down::1980_boogie_down:

Old Dixon doesn't seem to have a very wide vocabulary, does he? The coverage was bias, could tell Lawro was desperate for West Ham to score! It's always the same with Championship football on the TV (BBC or Sky) so I can't say I'm surprised. Good on Dave, was very professional as I knew he would be.

This is a side put together in a few weeks with just 4 friendlies behind them.

If you cannot give credit for that performance who needs it we got three points.

We beat a "promotion favourite" away from home with a scratch team, OK a bit of a smash and grab, but still three points at the end of the day...............we won, maybe a bit lucky, but it still counts, No one knows where this team will finish, but no one knows where WHU will finish either...............all I know is I'm happier as a Cardiff fan than I would be than as a Hammers fan...................but that could change <ok>

Didn't hear Dave over here, different commentary. Glad I missed the bias. Anyway thanks to Dave for the fair comments.

Really proud of the team. Still a way to go but all hustling, stringing passes (which I'm sure will get better) and working for each other. What a display from Marshall!

Didn't expect the three points but happy to have them. Thanks Malky!

TBH I can't remember too much of yesterday except the missus phoning me and saying the roast was in the dogs bowl and I'm a ****!
Didn't think we'd win but a good team performance paid off. More of the same and a bit of time I think we'll be ok, what a diiference a day makes heh :)

I said it months ago when there was speculation about him being sacked. DJ is, and always has been a very decent man.
Yes he will defend his team and moan about things as most other managers will in the heat of battle but he has a wonderful levelled headed attitude in general.

He will be back in work before the end of the season, maybe when Leeds give Simon Grayson the boot <ok>

Couldn't agree more Sayer. <ok>

I was actually going to put up a similar thread myself. I though DJ conducted himself with dignity and professionalism.

Hmmm, "sitting on his arse and playing golf".

If at the same time that must be quite a difficult achievement, especially from a bunker or close to a water hazard. Must make lining up puts awkward as well.
