Just when you think things are going along nicely, where the club has finally jettisoned the stupidity that has plagued it for the last few years Dave jets in and throws a spanner in the works.

Why did you do it Dave? There was no need. Did you see the cameras and the excitement of it all took over you?

Take a leaf out of the new managers book Dave. When he gives an interview he makes no outlandish claims, he is ever respectful of our opposition, he doesn't get carried away with all the media attention.

You know, i am old enough to remember when Rangers board members were never seen or heard from in the media. When a dignified silence was the order of the day. These days though, it seems that Mr King will take any and every opportunity to get his dial on the telly.

Come on Dave, let's put and end to these crazy interviews. Let the team do the talking mate. They seem to be doing just fine.

Apart from that Aldo makes a fair point King has been yapping on a wee bit. What matters though for me is that the team keep playing the way they are. It doesn't matter at all what opposition fans perceive us to be the fact is we're coming back very strongly indeed and we're only going to get better. Focus on the football, have you noticed our fiercest critics talk very little about that these days?

RANGERS chairman Dave King has had a claim for millions from the £18 million club oldco creditors pot thrown out by liquidators.

The South African businessman had claimed he was owed £20 million over an investment in the club 15 years ago, when Sir David Murray was owner. If he had succeeded it would have made him the third biggest creditor of the in-liquidation former operating company.

But the Herald understands the liquidators BDO have rejected his claim as an unsecured creditor - potentially raising the amount available to others stung by the oldco collapse.

Correct mate. We should be talking about what we're doing on the park now and keeping the fantastic momentum we've got going.
