Off Topic Dave Clark Five Documentary

Re two drummers, saw Little Richard in 1964. 2 drummers, five guitarists and more brass players couldn't drown out his voice.

 

Always thought Mike Smith was the power house of DC5.

 

Wrote most of the hit songs (though Dave Clark supposedly had a hand in them), was the singer. Maybe the MS5 would have been a more appropriate name. Although there is no denying Dave Clark was a very astute businessman even at a very young age.

 

Incidentally, that was the best live performance I have ever seen.
