He's a really good player, never gives up. Doesn't have the finesse of the Humphries, MVG, Littler or Smith imo but a very decent player on his day.
Littler will have to be at it from the start here, and to be fair he did look bang at it from the first leg against Humphries.
I think it's how he throws, just can't take to him.
He's very consistent though and should be right up there.

He does play a bit on the 'stretch' when he's under pressure amd misses the doubles high. The top players tend not to change how they throw no matter how the match is going.
Mad when you think isn't it? How pressure affects these people doing something they do hundreds of times a day
The standard is just mental, even on bad nights it hits 100 plus136 checkout just for giggles.
Yeah, had a bit of 'coaching' input at work over the years to ask staff the right questions to get the best out of themselves and come up with the solutions themselves. All of the people running those courses mention sport and they nearly always say that technically there isn't much between the top level but what sets them apart is the mentality.
God knows how Littler had rhe mentality at such a young age. Nothing seems to phase him
The only thing I can think of with him is that he isn't used to losing and he's blitzed everyone on his way to where he is now. If he loses 5 matches in a row it will be all about the 'reaction'.

I like Aspinall. He always looks genuinely pleased for Littler (same reaction as the nine darter)
Actually , it was quite poor. Should have been 25 50 50 , but he missed the 25. Needs to practice more .
