I'd watch the Bundesliga weekly round up if the commentators weren't such imbeciles

Fabrizio Miccoli rejects Birmingham transfer to stay with Palermo, couple o moons back. Salary: 1.2 million EUR (2012) so around £19,700 week

I see a bit of German, Spanish & Italian on ESPN, German's quite interesting but the Italian hasn't really changed since it used to be on Channel 4 in the 80's/90's. I find the Spanish a bit boring too.
Presspass is all about the top teams in England & a bit of crap about the other leagues but at least it's a bit of English football.

That was three years ago when they were in the Premier League.

Bundesliga is the one to watch, as much as I hate the krauts.

I dont know anyone who watches only English football. Everyone I know sees the Murdoch created monster for what it is and despises it.

    Funny eh?

And I know youre trying to be funny, sadly it didnt work. We were talking about a player who has played in the top flight of one of the biggest leagues in the world for many years.

Sun Xiang plays for Guangzhou Evergrande F.C, champions of the Chinese Super League, with an average 37,250 home attendance and he has over six times as many international caps as Miccoli. As someone who spends a bit of time in Hong Kong, I've watched them play a few times, so I know who he is, I don't expect anyone else to though, which was rather my point.

I don't get your point here. Fair enough the premier league has been murdoched and is getting increasingly like a game of monopoly, but you can hardly argue against the principles of English footbal whilst sticking up for Italy, where you can buy a win on a match by match basis as officials and opposing players are happy to throw a game. Italian football has no affiliation with us other than the fact it's football, and to be honest it's boring as **** to watch. It's just a slow game of chess, at least English football is fast and exciting.

I know exactly the point you were trying to make and I just repeat what I said earlier - the Italian league is one of the top leagues in the world. It's not the same and you know it. Nor is playing for the 4 times world champions vs China.

He's just been released by Palermo and he wont play for his beloved Lecce cos they're in Serie C (not that beloved then).

I know Bruce wanted him when he was at Brum, could a 2 year deal for a freebie be worth it? He's a total impact player, fat and stumpy like his idol Maradonna. I seem to recall he even named his kids after him and bought his old ear-rings or something.
