Technically the capacity is 10k. Piss poor planning.

Apparently the council refused permission for the ground to be sold to a supermarket chain, baffles me when councils take these stances. Same with Scarborough a few years ago.

 

So the club still own the ground then?

Maybe the Allams should buy them, then they've got a prebuilt stadium we could move to if the Council don't play ball over the KC. It'd be amusing actually, Gateshead playing their rugby games in Hull whilst we play our football games in Darlington, and I'd have less travelling to do.

 

Mario Ballotelli might be buying Darlo or donating money to save it.

 

If some of the Ballotelli charitable rumours are true that wouldn't shock me tbh, some of the other overpaid players should take a leaf out of his book
