it was and if you go back to the start, look and see how debate evolves, read the first few pages. You'll find it aint me ****ing it up with bollocks. I had the neck to bring up other theories and got kneejerk reactions.

I remember you and a few having a go at me for arguing electric comets. And you talk of people ruining the thread, or ruining what you believe should be discussed?

    <ok>

Take note that's one today and one yesterday

As I said, you just have to nail this cretin down to a single point and he runs

No doubt Toby will be back when he sutures his arse again.

You're still here? only noticing now.

After months of talking about me personally as if you know me.. I mean I can take a bit of that and shrug it off but you have been relentless, in other threads when I aint even there, bumping old posts, really weird ****.

I can see nothing good coming from arguing with your genius.. cos you seem to know exactly who I am and what I am about. <whistle>

You mention me in posts all the time, often when I am not even here usually involving lies about me.

Anyway let's discuss global warming , no insults etc just global warming?

So then Sisu, should I follow your line and start posting about you running away from discussing global warming because of the debacle re Pielke yesterday?

Or would you claim that is childish personal wird stalker etc and avoiding talking about the subject?

So when you are prepared to have a discussion we can start.

So you want to disregard the smallest ice covering in 37 years but highlight the largest?

    But forsake the average ;-)

Because that's not what you want is it<laugh>

Do you know how and why the data was adjusted? the data that shows global average temperatures are increasing.

Do you understand that all weather stations are not the same, that the methods, times etc of temperature measurement varied?

But hey, it's cold in Finland tonight so it's a lie. But then again Finland has seen the largest average temperature rise....

    Is that a lie also?

Don't bring up some conversation on 1700's global warming with me.

Let's get back to your misuse of data regarding increase in polar bear populations?

Which study did you use as a starting point for the lies you put out here?

in 37 years you say, are you referring to the fact that the satellites that started monitoring the ice, which actually went in in 79 I think, right smack bang at the end of a 20 year cooling phase where glaciers advanced.. so once cooling ended, it took years of warming (natural) to melt the ice to what it is today. Which began before satellites went it, it was already receding

By climate models, man only had a significant impact after 1980. mostly the 90s onwards, what melted it in 1800s 1900s

36 years ago is when we started monitoring, and that was when a cooling phase finished. Clearly shown in the record. No one denies this.

So, what you have done "seeing as you like to mention cherry picking" is to start from the end of a cooling phase, meaning it's perfect, now if you go back 80 years, or 100, the arctic lanes were open for shipping as well and it was as bad as a few years ago, it was worse than today.

Cherry picking start date then is what you call cherry picking by definition.

Ireland has glaciated over like 15 times or more. How on earth do you think that happens?

There is a reason most Canadians live near the US border.. because the further you go back, well beyond the man made global warming, ice has been retreating, they have glaciers known to be in retreat since 1880.

Your cherry picked argument is not sufficient, 37 years to show geology is a blink of an eye, only pseudo science would use such tiny time frames.

    You loonies try erase history

You mention Southern ice levels, I pick holes<ok>

You mention polar bear numbers, I pick holes<ok>

What I do here is.....pick holes in your beliefs and discussion points at ease. <ok>
