Probably but its not like they arent flying first class and cant kick back is it It just confuses me, no difference to day the matches are played - still same amount of rest in between
Of course, first class, feet up, masseuse on the plane. I know the level is completely different but over here you have games back to back alot. Saturday and Sunday or Friday-Sunday. That **** can be brutal!!!
It's also worth bearing in mind, that if you are out of Europe altogether your Ranking gets hammered. Pool are currently 30th and could still fall further, making it all the harder to be seeded in the qualifiers and leading to tougher groups (like City in the last couple of seasons)
I think the Europa just needs less teams and less rounds. The group stages are fine, 4 teams per group. But less groups and a round of 16.
Winners of the 2014-15 Europa will qualify for the 2015/16 champions league, so from next season onwards.
This this this this and more of this. Add to that, keeps your European co-efficient ticking over as well and get's the team used to playing 2 games a week. I'm sure someone mentioned it somewhere as well but how is playing Saturday/Tuesday or Saturday/Wednesday and different to playing Thursday/Sunday? Yes it may be a little bit more pressure playing on a Sunday if your rivals have played on Saturday but each week you'll get 1 or 2 of the top 6 playing on a Sunday due to TV rights.
Is that a subtle admission to being wrong on the Gerrard thread? PS...no, I'm not revisiting it Edit: oh, I almost forgot...IRONY!!!
On the back of that win against the gunners i now have a cocky manc strutting around the office declaring we will lose louis in jan and man u will win the title - nailed on facts :-/
do a sly trip the ****a up, hopefully you wont have to put up with his ****e any more after that lol.
ok ok for the op..... keown hates us so would rather comment on southampton and shearer is an ex player and would thorw out a nice easy sop to them.. southampton are unlikely to be top 6 by the end frankly.
