I do not have the same IP address as TWF and anyone capable is more than welcome to check. However having read this forum for around two months in-between working hard, I actually do think TWF has some very valid points in some cases, people (especially the younger ones) just jump on the bandwagon of slating him because its TWF and want to “fit in”. Fair, he does sometimes say things to wind people up but his angle of viewing Hull City is just a realists view were as most people on this forum use rose tinted glasses when discussing City issues.

i'm 16 and tbf i think TWF has some good points its just the way he presents them

So ignoring the "18-24 year old nobodies", NP has signed:

"yes boys" - Fryatt, Hobbs

None ex-Leicester yes boys- 'arps, Koren, Gerrard, Rosenior, McLean, Simpson, Guzan.

Then we supposedly are after:

"yes boys" - Hobbs, Howard

None ex-Leicester yes boys- Adebola, Danns, Johnson, Norris, Ayala.

Some people don't half spout crap. Offence intended!

I don't get why some people are already writing off us signing danns, ayala etc. For any Championship player worth his salt there is bound to be competition, we have to trust the management team in doing their best to tempt players here. We'll know once they sign on the dotted line, be that for us or any of our rivals. But it's worth remembering that there will be about 5 clubs in a similar position regarding the Danns situation, we won't be the only ones disappointed shouldn't he decide to come here. We've already managed to get some decent players here at city in the last 6 months, i don't see any reason why that can't continue.

Whaaaat? Cos it's all gone silent? NP doesn't work like Brownie/Duffen; he plays with his cards close to his chest until it's time to show 'em.

I think Jimmy B knows why Ashbee started to **** up.....

Well said, it's regrettable that Ash left in the circumstances he did, but even NP was aware of his presence at the club, and would have done his best to keep someone like Ash. He was even playing the bloke most of the time before he left and he was still captain, i'm sure if there was a personal issue between NP and Ash then we'd have noticed. Ash felt it was time to move on, Brownie came calling and Ash left. Just because we sign new players doesn't mean we forget Ash's acheivements at the club, but we have too move on and bring in new blood. Look at Man United with Beckham, Ronaldo, Stam, Van Nistelrooy etc, they may be some of their best players but there comes a time when players have to move on, and you have to look beyond sentiment.

NP fears old characters in the dressing room as he likes to be boss, he knows by signing 18-24 year old nobodies he will be in charge and when he says jump they will say how high. Older guys will have their opinions having played around the clubs and leagues and have potential to be more out spoken a prime example of this is Ian Ashbee, how NP can come in and ship out our inspirational leader the way he did is a disgrace. You all look through the rose tinted glasses with NP but I feel he has done a hell of a lot wrong since he joined the club. We need to blend this youth with some older heads but he will only bring in ex Leicester players he knows will be “yes boys”

That has got to be the biggest try and wind everyone up thread ive seen hahaha bud dont make it so blatant and you might jus get what your aiming for.

Oh yep the same NP who wants to sign players with experiance to compliment the youth ala Adebola, Danns, Norris, Kilkenny, Shackell

Today's 'Eastern Daily Press' ( = East Anglia) has an article re Lambert and Norwich, and signings (already). But the best bit was the man quoted as saying Lambert knows what he's doing, having got the Canaries back up to the Prem.
No offence to Lambert - he's done a great job!<ok>
But the quote came from Iain Dowie, "a man with experience of taking a club up to the Prem" . Maybe so, but what a load of SHONK!<yikes>

Still - we love him, don't we fellas?<smooch>
