simpsons been one of my players of the season! hes really under rated! the times hes been caught out this year is when hes been against a really good winger with pace and skill for example lennon, jarvis and arteta. plenty of other full backs have failed to cope with them... did you watch the first leg of milan vs spurs? lennon basically won the tie for them. simpsons been brilliant end of

 

Danny Simpson isn't right now the best right back in the Prem. Ok that's not exactly hard to to argue with but he's a developing young player.

I think he's far better than Steven Taylor and will only get better over the next 3 years.

He had a great game against Wolves.

 

Steven Taylor at right-back? Christ no... How many times do you need him to prove he can't play there?

However, he resembles an excited puppy at times.. running around with his tongue hanging out.

Simpson has had a good season on the whole, but needs some coaching regarding decision making. (See Wolves' goal Saturday when he gave Jarvis far too much time)
I reckon he's got potential. Enrique was pretty similar when he first came.

 

I really like him he just needs to stop backing off so much
the thing that pisses me off though is as soon as the winger gets in the box he then tries to tackle/foul them.
he needs to start sending them to the byline!
other than saturdays poor performance he's been consistantly good

 

I personally think he's a bit ****, we have conceded a lot of goals from players cutting in from the right hand side this season
