Obviously DG does look like going, so hopefully it will be at the top price! If KP does come in, do you think we'll get another striker in - be it loan market or permanent, or use this money to strengthen other areas? I'd say we need a left back and left wing and a creative centre midfielder.

Ideally, I'd say offer Andrew Taylor a nice signing on fee, this Conway guy and then see what midfielder we can get on loan.

If we do go for another striker, I'd prefer it to be on loan, so Weimann again or maybe enquire at Simeone Jackson's availablity seeming Norwich have just signed 2 strikers!

Wickham is young and if my spellchecker is anything to go by (it just substituted Beckham for Wickham ) he may well prove to be a good investment. For me the fee that really throws that 3m into sharp relief is Carroll at 35m. I know their pockets were bulging with cash when they went to market, but I won't accept for a second that if Carroll is 35m, then DG is worth a penny less than 5m.

The offer from the Seagulls was totally derisory though. Wickham's pricetag may be fair, I don't know, but it does throw a shadow over a 500k bid, don't you think?

We have to get the mindset on DG changed fro this £2-3m tag - why don't we start talking about £10m too

It makes the Seagulls offer look pathetic!

He needs to learn how to stand up when running first..then finding some end product before turing potential into the real thing.

Wickham is highly rated because he's big and physical and very young..

Still I would say Bucko is worth 1.5-2 m in todays market! If he could be more consistent that fee would be a lot higher!

Just heard that Barcelona are loooking at a part exchange of Messi for DG and 1 million. haha. The kind of rumour you'd hear from the sun. 500K for Buckly was the biggest joke in the world

    There's something I can't quite figure out.

How has Dasani gotten this far through life without selling his house for £55k?

because then there would be no speculation leonardo, truth is DG wants to go and the watford board want to sell him, I no longer think there is any chance apart from DG leaving, watford are just going to sit back and wait for the largest offer to come in, which should be around 4

There was a rumour today that Newcastle were lining up a £5m bid for Shane Long and Norwich looking at Snodgrass for £5m. I value Graham as a better player than both, so surely...?

Totally agree Max shows that the 2.5m was so derisory!

Is that from a bias point of view though?

    :emoticon-0112-wonde

We all can have blinded view on players although I agree that Long (inface before Xmas Reading fans were calling for him to be dropped etc!) and Snodgrass appear to be no better or consistent than DG but maybe younger and internationals (clearly its not Danny's fault he is Englis and not from Eire or Scotland!)

I think whatever happens we have to get some add-ons into any deal or a sell-clause as I do think with time Danny will be a good Premiership striker.
