Great signing if we are getting Danny Rose from about 18 months back. Struggled for a while, basically ever since he admitted that he was no longer in love with the game. Maybe a change of scenery and new challenge will get him going again. Rumoured that he is actively running down his contract because Spurs tried to sell him without him asking to leave. That was supposedly trigger for downturn in mood/form. Certainly better than what I expected. I thought they'd just gamble on Ritchie being fit.
Bowen looks unlikely now which is a shame. Rumoured to be a 14m deal with 8m in add ons. That could turn out to be terrific business in this day and age. Only 23.

Danny might struggle to get a club who wants him now. His big problem is his attitude stinks out the place. Has a chip on his shoulder, and stopped trying about 3 years ago. Then we got all his mental health issues (I'm not belittling them), and this "I don't like football". Smart by Newcastle to only take a loan, unfortunately we found out he is indeed finished and has a **** attitude he doesn't seem to think is an issue.
You just said he "looks out of shape", not that he was a useless lazy arrogant waste of space.
In this thread though I said "he looks better than that clown we're signing from Inter", I appear to have been rather inaccurate there.
Chaos is trying to claim back his tattered reputation.
It was revealed on the prem board that he has posted over 20K times this year, he was wrecked on many fronts during that time.
His reputation has took such a battering he's scouring his old posts searching for a time he was right. It's a sad desperate attempt.
My opinion hasnt changed, if we didnt sign Jamal or Rogerio, I'd take him. You can't have Ritchie as the left back.
