    Some of Guthrie's passing yesterday was as good, if not better, than Cabaye's has been. Guthrie's performance yesterday was better than any Cabaye has put in for us.

    Always thought he was decent, good enough as a 3rd/4th choice squad player.

    Now I'm more than happy seeing him in the starting lineup. Thing is the lad's 24, I'm sure he must be thinking about fighting for an England spot in the fairly near future. He may get more first team action at a club like Everton or Villa, I just hope he decides to stay and fight for his place here.

    Wouldn't take that as him proving you wrong mate. I also think he was not good enough before this season, he wasn't, but he has been good this season. On all known evidence he was a candidate for the chop. However he has got himself fitter for the first time since arriving (his chops have gone) and he is benefitting as a result. Good on him and a massive bonus for us.
