Given a choice the way we have dropped thru the leagues I wish we had told all the players to f*ck off and took our chance with PDC
We did not like Di canio ? is he daft, he is a legend after that win at Newcastle, so much so i want his trousers on display at the SOL as well lol, his commitment that day was the best since Bob stokoe's after the cup final. Graham should have Keane/Reid as manager for real trouble.
Mate, we won 3 games under him in total, including the league Cup tie against MK Dons before he was sacked. Before he went we had 1 point on the board in the league, a draw against Southampton which we were 1 up until they pegged us back, in total we won 9 points under him. He was ****e, but gave us a new manager bounce that kept us up after O'Neil. If it wasn't for the win against the Mags he'd have been chucked in the ****e bin years ago, like Buxton, Crosby, Butcher and so on. This doesn't excuse Graham for being ****e and an awful signing by O'Neil, or that others were unprofessional under O'Neil, but Di Canio was still ****e and its proved by how noi e has given him a management or coaching job since us.
Of course he’s s hite mate, I mean you just have to look how well we have done since nobody listened to him and believed the players instead. You are spot on Marra.
Interesting insight into the running of the club during his time with us, some scathing stuff from Danny about the Di Canio era (24 minutes in)
It might have gone badly wrong with Di Canio, but that doesn't mean most of what he said wasn't spot on. In fact, most of what's in the public domain indicates he was spot on.
