No, I state the truth and it bothers me not. Did you play, Peter?

With Brady and Koren missing, IF we get a penalty against the Villa then i suspect that Sone Aluko will take it as he put a great one away @ Birmingham in pre-season.

I know Danny Graham needs a goal but do we take a risk with him ? Hhhhmmmm...........

How good is Graham on penalties as far as his success rate goes? I found a fair number of videos of him scoring penalties for Swansea so I know he was their primary penalty kicker. It may not be a risk at all. Does any site carry a players penalty success ratio?

Here are the stats when he was their primary penalty kicker. He didnt necessarily take 100% of them but this is the closest I can find.

    2011-2012
Swansea City 5 scored 1 saved

    2010-2011
    Watford 1 scored 1 saved

    2009-2010
    Watford 2 scored 0 saved.

So that would be an 80% success rate if he took them all and if the 2 websites I found it on are accurate.

speaking of pelanty's, one of the worst on target pens just now in the Swansea game. stuttering run up, keeper dived and he just dinked it straight into his arms. awful.

FFS, you had to mention that ! It was atrocious. If PeterSaxton sees that he'll have a field day.... goalie barely dived, and the PK taker fluffed his lines....clearly doesn't practice at all, and the manager was out of his mind to allow him to take it.

Nah, don't think so, unless he was a keeper. Much better coach & statistician. Even got me taking PK's in my garden FFS. Tough really, I live on the 15th floor of a high-rise, but I'm determined to give him some data !!!

80 % is impressive. Not as good as Le Tissier ( 48 scored out of 49 taken = approx 98 % success rate). We should hire him to coach our lad Brady, who only has a 100 % success rate this season. Mind you, it's a much smaller statistical sampling, and Brucie'll be getting nervous 'cos Brady's technique is suspect, and he isn't practicing enough.

More to the point, why are you still awake ?

OK, I'll attempt to give an answer.

It's an exercise in futility in trying to educate an insecure supporter on the finer points of penalty taking. I'm not referring to you by the way Macca.

Because since I arrived at university my body clock has ****ed up.

Do you think I want to be wide awake at half past two in the morning?

Aha, 'Uddersfield time. I suspect you're up to no good my man - such are the temptations of college life. Try some soothing music....

It's not Jim Morrison as you may have noticed, nor Zepp, but if the above doesn't put you to sleep, this will, providing you use earplugs !!!

Incidentally, Felix Pappalardi, who co-founded Mountain, was the producer of the seminal Cream album "Disraeli Gears".....

Seriously though, this is perfect music for insomniacs....if you don't suffer from nightmares....

but listen to the full overture from Rossini's William Tell.....

If you're not asleep by now......zzzzzz....and start counting sheep !
