We need to be realistic on the finances at Cardiff. The money that the owner is giving them is not all for players, and that money is in the form of a loan as well. There are already a few players at the club who are on relatively large wages and Cardiff probably have other targets that they need more than a striker considering their attack force is already quite potent. I could be a case that they cannot afford to match the wages he is paid at Swansea.
imo ML will find IF the7y are interested, determine the fee and see what he can get from overseas before a decision is made

Home grown = English or Welsh born, over 21 before a rolling cutoff date; or played 3 years in English or Welsh football before age of 21 (or something like that).

as Yankee says except you have to have a minimum of 8 homegrown players from the 25 man squad. Union Jack - I've heard the Eder rumour from 3 different places now plus some guy from Celta Vigo linked too (where Michu used to play).
