To be honest, i don't think Vuckic is looking the promise of what many suggested. Remember many mooted him to United and Chelsea for £5mill or so a few years back - wish we'd taken that. Every time i see him he looks poor.

It might be harsh, but it's true. If you took out the knowledge of him as a youth prospect at Everton, he'd be considered a poor signing, even if we did get him for free. His injuries have hampered what could have been a very good career, but now he needs to find himself quickly or drop down the leagues.

As a back-up, I find he pretty much just blocks better youngsters having a shot, but with such a slender squad, I really don't mind him playing in Europa or FA/League Cup matches. If he comes good, ala Perch, then he could stay and become a hit and I will be the first to praise him, but he needs to push on or we'll cut our losses.

Obertan couldn't deliver a bloody newspaper, his end product is just woeful. Has anyone ever seen him make a tackle? Granted he will approach an opposition player and look as though he is going to have a go, but he always backs out. Against Maritimo he should have excelled, but no end product, yet again.
I also cannot understand why we have not seen more of Abied, from the little l did see he looked a good prospect, certainly no worse than, Gosling or Amalfitano, so why the lack of playing time and talk of being loaned out ? Has he upset AP ? As for Gosling, okay as back-up, but l would not rush to select him unless there was no
other choice, too inconsistent and should be showing more class than the newbies by now, due to his greater experience.
