Leicester
We have just signed Danny Drinkwater and i was wondering what your thoughts are on him, would you have liked to see him sign for you again and what are his strengths

Cheers

he looked a decent player before he got injured never stopped running, but at the time he didnt appear to do much more than that however at Barnsley he's been very good

I wasnt a fan TBH. As London said he never stopped running he chased and herried would i have him over any of our current crop Not a chance!!

Hes a busy player. He just wasnt fit when he was with us.

A poor loan signing for us.

However he showed glimpses of a player who fully fit would be good at this level.

I doubt even fully fit hes the standard of our current central midfielders though.

Good enough at this level - but won't get you promoted. Probably wouldn't get into our current midfield, but chases, harries, does a good defensive midfield job - not that creative.

Agree with Hilts - came to us at the wrong time given his injuries and was poor loan decision by Jones. I suppose that's easy to say with hindsight though.

He's could hold his own in the Championship with most clubs, but seems strange that Leicester with all their aspirations see him as an answer to their problems.

Having only seen him on ccplayer I wasn't overly impressed given some of the positive comments about him prior to his injury. Seemed to run a lot but I didn't think he offered much else.
