I liked Danny, actually sad to see him go. Given Shaw's injury record, I believe this leaves us light in this area unless Poch expects Chambers or Clyne to switch over.

From comments made by several of the team, many of them will be losing a good friend. Everyone seemed to have a good word for him.

Good luck Danny and thanks for helping us get out of the Championship.

I am a bit surprised at this, obviously the rumour Fran heard yesterday was correct! I suppose Clyne and Chambers between them will have to cover Shaw until Targett is ready.

Guess he needs some Targett practice. (Ba-doom)

I'm here all night, folks

Good luck Danny and thanks.

Hopefully this will finally put the Shaw rumours to bed and the mirror can go hassle another club about their left back going to UTD or Chelsea or City.

Bang goes the "Fox to United" rumour!

The two fullbacks who grabbed god know how many assists for us in the championship have now gone. I liked him but thought that he was just a Championship player at best. Good luck in the future.

I don't understand why you're arguing with me. I said Clyne was cover for left back. That's indisputably true. He's also cover for right back, and in a pinch so are Cork, Yoshida and Fonte. We don't desperately need four full-backs. If Targett is ready to step up then great, but he's never even been on the bench in the league.

Still doesn't mean he isn't ready to be back up. We will do what we did with Chambers and alowly bring him into the fold. As I said before Fox was a great dad kinda figure to most of the lads, hence why he stayed with us even tho hewasn't really up to the Prem.
