Yes it was, my stream didn’t work again so I listened to Benno and Barnes, seen a few complimentary posts on Facebook aswel, supposed to have been a vast improvement on those two
Yep, it was Collins, he was OK. Im glad we had a commentary for this match unllike the Oxford match
He was alright but **** me I'm sure he was shouting down the microphone.
I'll always give him praise though because I still feel bad for last season at Rochdale away. We were playing ****e, might have been losing at the time. All of a sudden the crowd start singing the "for Brazil" song. I was pissed and started ranting. Pretty much shouting "**** me, we're playing ****ing ****, why are we singing about a ****ing useless **** who isn't even here any more, he was ****ing ****e anyway". Soon realised it was because he was at the game, about 2 rows in front of me. I said "sorry Danny, you were canny really" but I'm not sure he believed me.

Danny Collins & Frankie (Lad does the matchday announcements) were a vast improvement on Barnes & Benno.
Thought they were good. Must be tricky as they are sitting in a room watching the same stream as us.
If Barnes and Benno have gone, I might give it a try. Listening to B&B makes we wanna end it all
I listened to Barnes & Benno on radio Newcastle - Jesus you couldn't tell what was happening half the time. As soon as we got anywhere near their goal Benno was shouting over the top of Barnes and you just didn't have a clue.

Had the Charlton coverage on one I watched. Interesting to hear it from a different perspective.
danny and frankie (that the other lad's name?) did well. Less of the constant reminders about the goalkeepers kit colour or a players 2 colour boots, less of the wandering away from the football and missing half the action...luckily, they had a nice stable stream as well and both seemed very informed about all players.
I love their combination and enjoy the commentary. Will give Danny a go as initial reports seem good
So did I, it was so biased and painted a completely different picture to the one I was watching
Dont listen to Gary Bennett very often. What I notice is, for example, one of our players has the ball, the commentator says 'he is lining up a shot' and we know the result of that shot first by the 'groooaannnn' made by Bennett before the main commentator tells us what happened. It gets right on my tits! I could just smash his ****ing face in!
