Dark Lord - a few months ago I was going into work on the train and was reading the Metro and this guy had written in; he had moved from somewhere in Engalnd to take up a job in Glasgow and wrote how depressed he was because he could only watch Scottish football and, after trying to get into it for several months, came to ask himself (and therefore the readers of the Metro); what is the point of professional football in Scotland as it seemed an utterly futile pastime?

When you think about it; two parasitic teams living off the spoils of beating other much inferior teams, the only highlights of any given is when one of the two teams actualy drop points - either are totally useless against most teams in the Champions League - not to mention the weather... may Danns thought it through and did not go just for the money!

Dont really think Danns is such a massive signing we already have midfield players of better quality this being the key word you can sign as many players as you like but you need the right players.I am surprised they havent tried to sign Puncheon some one Nigel does not trust long term. Our present players and any new players Know that they need be 'on the bus 'as we all know This is a great philosiphy championed by Nige which i think has turned our club around i do not want an over loaded squad of here today gone tomorrows. The Foxes are also lumbered with Sven who could walk at any point leaving behind all of his overpaid signings for someone else to sort out.No i am much happier with our measured and maybe slower but hopefully longer lasting approach by our brilliant owner and manager.Ater all remember how we all welcomed Skacel as some kind ofnew messiah did not quite work not all his fault but a disapointment in the end.Dont think loads of dosh will be thrown at our team but what is i feel will be spent wisely after all our squad is none to shabby now look at Norwich dont think they spent millions did they.I dont envy them at all in fact theexpectations for them has risen could be a burden if things dont go well and dont be surprised if we dont finish above them i wont

Fair play to the foxes. I rate Damns and apart from occassionally losing his head an getting sent off, he is a very good player and proven at Championship level. They may end up having some players unhappy by lack of games though. Vassell up front and don't know if Yakubu is going back or has signed, but CMS will be behind them and may not enjoy that.
