i think sven should just pay chelsea the £3million for daniel sturridge.
this guy is such a natural goal scorer, he would get above 30 goals at this level.
scored for fun at bolton 8 goals in 12 games
go for it sven because right now we are starting to look a tad desperate
 
If he is going for 3m then every team in the Prem will snap Chelsea's hands off.

Can we please get realistic, just because we can afford the proce does not mean we can persuade players who should be playing in Europe to play in the Championship.

£3m was just for a season long loan. As if he'd come to us anyway.
 
sturridge is on the brink of england, and was one of the best strikers in the prem at the end of last season. We will not get anywhere near him.
 
Anelka wants to leave - he won't be going anywhere now.

BTW only £5M? - If that was the case he would be a Bolton player now.
