If fergie won't let us have Danny welbeck back for another season then why don't we make a move for sturridge, I've heard rumours he is available for another year, he's quick, skillful and knows where the goal is I think he would be a quality signing. What does everyone else think?
 
apparently the queue of clubs for Sturridge is slightly shorter than that for the vacant position of a fanny crack waxers assistant at a salon in Glasgow, the queue for that job starts in Portsmouth apparently.
 
We could use a natural finisher like him. Would be a very good loan but half the premiership would be in for him. Would you rather take him or Welbeck on loan for a year?
 
I heard rumours we are still trying for Wellbeck but obviously he will only be allowed, if at all, to be a regular player for us. The risk is if we buy another good striker then it will make Wellbeck less likely to come, swings and roundabouts.
 
But personally I would have welbeck over sturridge for another year it's close but welbeck just nicks it because of his work rate I've watched sturridge before and he comes across quite selfish and lazy. Quality player still though
 
Sturridge is a great player (IMO) but he is also a great Diver (and I'm not talking about Muff or Cliff!!) He'd get done for diving playing for us - he did it at Bolton over and over last season and would definitely be getting booked playing for Sunderland - as we had player booked simply for that fact last season!!
 
Welbeck for me - seen somewhere that Owen Coyle and the new Chelski boss are mates from years ago and is therefore likely to tap him for Sturridge for another year. Would SAF let us have Welbeck back after nearly breaking him though??

Glasgow lasses havn't got hairy mots, I know that to be true.
 
Im not actualy joking when I say bring back super kev free agent. Obviously not a starter but someone who can come off the bench. Great for the fans and the morale of the club. Or is it a step back?
