Hello Chelsea fans!

Just a quick one regarding Sturridge - I remember a few of you when asked said he wasn't worth signing and basically wasn't good enough.

For us, however, he has looked sharp, scoring a goal every 105.7 minutes in the League this season - the best ratio in the League.

He has 10 goals in 13 League appearances as is only 23.

We're giving him a fair run of games and he's getting better.

Do you think in hindsight you should have kept him and given him the games he needs, whilst flogging Torres, and still buying Ba?

I think you looked pretty good this year but needed a proper goalscorer.

If you compare this to Torres' 7 in 35 games at an extra cost of £38 Million, it doesn't make good reading.

<ok>

I always thought Sturridge would come good and was annoyed when we flogged him to be honest.
Especially, like you say, when El Burro is still here.

Hindsights a great thing though.
We will hopefully buy a new Striker in the summer, along with a CB and a CM.

it wont last pal, he has no vision and a greedy **** who doesn't realise there is no 'I' in team. <ok>

I'm not so sure he has no vision.

Whether he keeps it up does remain to be seen, but I don't see why he wouldn't at this stage.

Yeah bin Torres. You should gamble on Lukaku you know. He looks a player.

He's an arrogant greedy prick. Glad you bought him. Can't believe we got such a good price.

We've scored 144 goals this year and we did it without Danny's help! Lets hope our last 2 fixtures can get us to 150!

Why havent you won the League then? And its not just Rafa.

I guess it's because we've let in a few as well !!!!!
When he's good Sturridge is very good, but that wasn't often enough for us, and he moans and whinges as well. Maybe he will grow up and do the business for you, he's capable of it.

I always thought of Sturridge as someone with exceptional ability but a weak mindset which holds him back.

He's miles better than any other striker England have of that age group but has major flaws.

I don't regret selling him though. I'd much rather Ba in the short term and Lukaku long term.

Sturridge does have goals against all of the top 4 though which proves he isn't a flat track bully. Wish him the best but don't regret selling him at all <ok>

Not at all bothered really. He is a good player but never saw him as a top 4 quality striker. Scoring a few for Liverpool doesn't change this. With respect to Liverpool, he is probably at the right level now. If Liverpool want to get back to top 4, they need better players than Sturridge playing weak in weak out.

For all of Torres faults; he brings a lot more to the team when playing hence why our midfield are able to score so many compared to say Liverpools.

Did he play much for you in CF position? It seems most of his whining comes when he isn't playing there. The few times he's played out of position for us (only once or twice I think) he's not been as good. But so far I don't think we could have asked for more from a 12£m signing, he's doing the business

Good record and shot you to 7th instead of 8th.

He's a good player, but coming to the end , he point blank refused to pass to torress, and nearly cost us a couple fo games. It was best for both parties that we went are separate ways.

Can you blame him? <whistle> it's the same for us. If he sees a pass to Cou or Suarez, he slots it through, but if it's DOwning or Shelvey he hogs the ball, it's like being back at school - don't pass to the **** players!

Well that's why you're seventh and we're third, and apart from a League cup, you've basically been trophyless for the last 7-8 years: We get rid of players that don't play for the team - you sign them up as your best

Well that's clearly not why we're seventh and you're third, but you're free to draw your own conclusions
