Good god, i've just read that he did that stupid dance when he scored for Liverpool, he did it against us last year in the capital one cup, he's a cocky sod, no wonder you let him go.
 
Loads of strikers do elaborate routines...

Torres did the slide along the sideline and crossed his arms (v United), Robbie Keane did the cartwheels and guns, Adebayor dances (doesn't he?), Nani does flips, Ronaldo does that thing were he points at his leg... Etc etc etc.

What about this for arrogance?

All those players have the right to be arrogant. Sturridge knocking a goal in once a month is hardly the stuff to be strutting around for. One of the reasons we got rid of him, style over substance.

Do they? I watched an Irish league match last night in which a player scored and danced... No one cared. Does he have that right?

You could argue he has the right to do whatever the hell he wants in the FA Cup... he has 9 in 12 games in it. That's more than Messi has...
