Daniel Sturridge is going to have Anfield medical. Now that Sturridge will soon depart from the squad surely the board have agreed in principle to sign up another striker in January because 1 striker is not enough. There are strong reports saying that Falcao is one of our primary targets. The funds we get for selling Sturridge will have to go towards another forward.

Glad we are selling Sturridge. Always thought he was a greedy player.
 
Happy with £12m. As long as we sign some quality up top instead of continually having eeyore.
 
What are your genuine thoughts on Sturridge?

I think he has a lot of potential, good pace and can get goals. I've seen that he can be greedy or just doesn't look up and that his finishing is erratic.

To me he's a risky signing one that could go wrong but also one that could go very right if someone gets the best out of this guy.

Am I way off or is there a very good player inside Sturridge?
 
he arrived at chelsea with a supposed attitude problem and i do not think he is leaving with an improved one. there is certainly talent and great potential, he just needs to become more of a team player
 
I think we'll most likely recall Lukaku and McEachran from loan! They wont let Rafa loose with the cheque book and any major acquisition will be dealt with by the new manager (Guardiola?)
 
I had high hopes for Sturridge in the beginning looked like he was going to be a great player, but his selfishness spoils his whole game, such a pity, I thought he could have been taught that doesn't work but at such a young age I suppose he is trying to impress.

IMO we shouldn't bring Lukaku back yet, I agree with what he said on MOTD last night, much as we want it we also need him to be a regular first team player, one for next season I think.

Torres I have now given up on completely, he only scores when I could have as well. I have never believed a team should be based around one player and we are loosing ground by doing this. We need to give up on him and move on. Hopefully if Benitez goes so will he.

Would you loan him back to us and pay most of his wages, like you did with Schevchenko and Milan when anther of Abramovich's vanity buys went tonto?
 
He wants it written into his contract he only plays as a CF. so overrated anyway. £12m is a steal for a player out of contract

I'd give him to you free of charge just to get shot of all the frustration he is causing me, and to save my tv screen from having something chucked at it, you can pay his wages though 'cos if he wants more than £2.50 p.w he's out of luck.
