No. He does seem a bit of a girl at times. Especially when NOT going in for a tackle. He needs to start firing again pronto if we're to salvage anything from this disaster of a season.

I've just been watching Neville do a little speech on Ronaldo and how he was when he first joined United, now I'm not saying Sturridge will be as good as Ronaldo by any means, but I think selling him would be one of the biggest mistakes we'll ever make as a club.

Difficult one but we have to keep him but he'll never be a centre forward as he has no ability in holding up the ball with opposition around him yet.

He looks like an out and out right winger to me; fast, strong, skillfull with a lovely cross, it's just his ability to decide when to utilise it all that's lacking. Once he gets to grips with that he'll be one of the best imo!

When he has done the job he is supposed to do without the attitude he is bloody well effective but suffers from a lack of a manager with the nuts to tell him exactly where to be and what to do. basically he is there for Fernando & Drogba, end of.

Don't think many want to sell him but he is so frustrating and has very little bottle!

What you mean is he'll never be that type of centre forward?

He was electric at Bolton in the lone striker role...Anelka didn't hold up the ball very well, but was a top class striker.

And one of the main reasons Torres is struggling. We bring in Torres for Drogba and still play the same way.

Drogba has been a great servant but least when he has gone it will force us to evolve a bit.

Very true, and goes for several of our players who have played one way most of their Chelsea careers. We really are only 3 players away from huge improvement, but we must get the broom out.

too true CP. The clearing out started under Carlo with Carvalho, Deco, Belletti, Ballack & Cole going but the players weren't bought in to replace them and the youngsters were nowhere near ready, the "cull" should've continued last summer but didn't now it's going to be difficult to get rid of all the dead wood in one go but it needs to happen. Malouda, Drogba, Kalou, Mikel, Paulo, Bosingwa, Hilario even Essien & A Cole all need to go if we are to improve enough to mount a title challenge. I know you feel Kalou & Mikel should stay but I think we need to bring in players with something extra, Mikel needs too much time on the ball as as for Zippy, a blind squirrel will always find a nut at sometime. Just my opinion mate!
