Still not convinced on Studge. Never mind fitness and injury concerns, I just don't don't see him improving enough to be a regular top 4 (hopefully) striker. Second pick or used in rotation, sure, but not the main striker for a team. Almost like Hernandez; great in small bursts of games, fast and a good natural finisher but not good enough to be first pick all season.
Look to me like a guy who sometimes takes the wrong option but i do feel a full season under his belt would knock some rough edges off.... hernandez was never the type to play as main striker long term. sturridge has the power and ability to hold the ball up, it gives him a powerful edge over hernandez who is anonymous for long parts of games. consistency and improving the options he takes so that the already highly impressive LFC goals to games ration he has stays high... if he gets 1 in 2 for us all the time he's going to be great... with his pwoer and ability to hold it up he could drop to 1 in 3 and still be crucial.
