I preferred the layout of SW but they have gone down the adverts route now and it is very annoying. No LFC posters obviously doesn't help either

 

Meanwhile, Rodgers revealed that Daniel Agger's absence from the travelling party was fitness related.

"The plan was always for Daniel to stay behind," he said. "Everyone knows his history of injuries. He came back to pre-season training after everyone else and is still not up to speed.

"He is fit, but I have to make sure he is up to speed before he plays, because everyone knows his history with injuries."

 

Do you think the repeating of 'everyone knows his history of injuries' is BR trying to put other clubs off him?

 

There was a stat that Daniel Agger has started 41% of games in the past 3 years. If there was ever a reason as to why LFC might want to cash in, that might be it.

The stat is in line with Rodgers said about conditioning and making sure Agger is fit. This should have been an easy game to win without Agger and there's no point making him travel and disrupt his training programme.

 

I think he's trying to dampen rumours and reassure fans, trying not to read into it!

 

Yeah this is probably right, then it's such an easy story to pick up and run with as he hasn't travelled.
