We absolutely need to be keeping these lads and getting them in the squad. With a wage cap coming in, it's a major benefit if we can have a few talented youngsters in the squad whose wages don't count towards the cap. Good enough to play, not contributing towards the cap, that's something a lot of clubs will struggle with and will give us the opportunity to offer more for the players who could make a real difference. The whole attitude around the academy has to change dramatically and we have to stop letting players go without a fight and start showing them a clear path to the first team
a bit of a piss take and perhaps a bit harsh as I did not see the mid week match, but going by what I saw vs Harrogate ... Not since Dustin Hoffman chased down Mrs. Robinson and her daughter, has anyone created such a commotion by completing two passes in one afternoon!
I just think Neil is worth a shot, might give the current favourites a kick up the proverbial,( as with Broad recently in the cricket ), its worth a try. That first 60 minutes was dire, and those responsible have had chance after chance, might be time for fresh legs, energy and pace up front, and a mix of youth and experience might be just the ticket.
