The kids were never in the team to make up the numbers. Maybe the Buttner deal isn't as dead as we thought though as I do think the kids need to do more than wait for an injury to get a run.
I think that is a good move for the lad. If it comes true could luck to him, he always gave his all for us!
Pretty much what I would have written. He was always going to find the PL tough going, but I noticed how much effort he was putting into his Swiss-French area training recently, and was thoroughly impressed by his commitment then and as always. Best of luck to him. A good ex-Saint.

He did well in league one. I met him a couple of times and he is a really nice lad. I don't think my son will take the signed photo of him and Dan down from his wall when he leaves.

Ah, you mean he wasn't the only poor player..? In truth, he was a respectably good player, who has already had a pretty decent career with Brighton, Leeds, Ipswich and Saints. Personally, I wouldn't have been ashamed of his poor player status. Truth was, he was alright.
Think the move would be great for Dan to another really good club - very best of luck to him and Forset. Been a good servant to Saints and been an integral part of a great journey for all of us and deserves the respect of all Saints fans Thank you!
I have watched games where I thought he was MOTM in L1, but he is probably just a bit short of the quality we need now. I wish him well. If he is going, then it ironic that I exchanged a few words with him this week having never met him before. He was with Kelvin getting a sandwich at the place I normally get my lunch. He was ordering at the counter and KD was sat outside in the sunshine. I was determined to remain cool. Don't say something stupid, I thought to myself. DH.. Yeah... Chicken and salad please.... Oh and some coleslaw on that one. CF Oh... Are you allowed coleslaw, then?" DH it's for Kelv. CF goalkeepers, huh? DH Yeah Are you allowed coleslaw then?
I wish him well...while he was here he did what was asked of him....Fox is the number one though..so he would have been second fiddle at best. How ever the other lad is very good I am told with better legs than Dan....(and no I do not mean the look of them, I meant speed wise)
He has been great for us, and has recieved way more stick than he was due from a lot of our fans. Sad to see him go, and wish him well. Hopefully this means the Buttner deal is still kicking.
