by some fans will try to find negatives in everything!

“Hmmm…. he had COVID and an Appendectomy last season seemingly but, because there’s something negative to say I won’t look up why and I’ll just post something negative!”

you wonder the thought process some of these fans have don’t you?

But if they didn't then the players wouldn't get any rest in the summer.

International breaks during the season are just one of the drawbacks of signing International grade players.

Although if a player comes back crocked for a significant time then I feel that their club should be able to sign a loan replacement even if it is outside of a transfer window.

  4. Knock off one or two of these needless cup competitions, finish the season by the end of April, International matches in May, player hols in June, ready to go again in July.

Move all international fixtures to the end of a season and injuries are going to build up a lot of jet lag from playing so many away fixtures. It is bad enough now in playing up to 3 games in each international break.

I'm with you for the likes of the stupid Nations League competition but not at a national level, where they aren't needless but offer much needed extra cash to lower league clubs. Clubs who may one day supply us with another Kevin Phillips.

I understand your frustration with blank fixture weeks, but they are just the price of success in being able to recruit international grade players.
