Dando: Havent heard owt mate and to be honest I am not expecting to as they probably get a lot more worthwhile causes, only tried it coz he used to live up there and is a Toon fanatic. Told them about how bad the break was and that he was due to enlist early in 2012 so time will tell <ok>

What's the scrore gonna be tonite then? Some nice prices for 1st scorer and result double :emoticon-0116-evilg

Well done to those who put Lay Time up. She is rapidly improving. MG running on late in the day, who would have thought it <laugh>

One for the notebook from the last race at Sandown is Mikhail Glinka, this horse should not really have been in the race today as it won at Royal Ascot last year over 2 miles and today was a mile which is way too sharp for it. What it showed today though is that the horse is fit, well and still retains speed for a stayer. I think it should be backed whenever it next runs over a trip of a mile and half or more. It was a great run today and connections will be delighted after a 6 month lay off.

Nass: Thought you may have backed Lay Time, we had a good chat about her recently. Thought she looked unlucky LTO, looked at that Balding debutant at Sandown 3 times contemplating an EW double but went off coz Lay Time was 7 runners <doh> Cost me a few hundred sovs!!

    Cheers fella,

I see you fancy Benfica to grab a goal tonight? Utd didnt concede an away goal last year in CL, im hoping for some of the same tonight, i took rooney 2-0 & 3-0

Also, does any1 know the best priced firm for united to win in 90mins tonight. I see bet365 are 'evens' which i think is a cracking bet. I will keep the profit from the earlier double but may stick the singles profit on them at evens.

Nora's Fancy EW at listowel as well. Then thats me for the day!! (i think)

I think ROTO might be onto something in tonights 7.40 at Kempton. Compton does have the stand out form in the book. Yes, it's up against some potentially useful types from good stables but on the book it should win and 4/1 looks very big.

Inter, Real Madrid, Man City, Man Utd, Lyon, Rubin Kazan, Atletico Madrid, Udinese, Sporting Lisbon, FC Copenhagen -234/1

Worth a couple of quid for casual Wed/Thurs night interest.

Lyon are the biggest price in the bet (9/4) but they have a good CL pedigree and might be able to beat Ajax away from home, who haven't had the best of times in Europe these last few seasons.
