I put up 4 horses yesterday. Two won and two came second. One of the 2nd place horses was an each way bet so money back. Two winners came in at 7/4 (although backed into 11/10 and won as he liked) and the other was a very game 11/8 winner who will go onto much better things. That's a decent profit on the day thank you very much. I did lose it back with one of the worst football bets i've ever stuck up. Maybe it's that you're referring to? I didn't taunt you on the thread last night. You said you had info about Sandy Lane and it ran like a drain. I only said that your info bet ran very poorly which was true.
It makes me laugh when people claim to have information almost every day of the week. How unbelievably well connected must they be to have many moles in many stables all over the British Isles.
And I said to you BEFORE that particular horse ran that you can't expect "info" to be correct every time !! However,his info still yielded a profit on the day ! Agreed ?
BostonBob..despite the "nonsense" you may have heard about me elsewhere and the fact that Dexter seems to know who you really are....all I will say is that I have been an owner myself in the past, with both small and large syndicates, and still have a couple of contacts "in the game" ! Say no more !
So you're saying that you have info that a horse will run well but also saying that it's just as likely to run poorly?

It is never an exact science for anyone ! IF it was that easy ALL the bookmakers would have closed down by now ! You have to be selective and as I am sure you are already aware I never back on the All Weather anyway. My source gave me 2 long-priced horses from the same stable that were expected to go very close yesterday..and one of them finished 2nd at 10/1 whilst, as you said yourself,the money was down for the other one later...ironically, Adam Kirby who rode the first one was on the winner in that race, even though George Baker was booked for the horse in question as they were "expecting" a big run ! It just didn't happen there.....that's Racing !

Any negative equity placepots on the go Arkle...I'm still intrigued as to how you worked out that bet yesterday. For a man who says he makes a 'small fortune' that is one of the worst calls I have ever seen on this forum. So I take it you must have lost plenty? Mind you you got it all back on the Nicholls horses you didn't advise but said you backed?? Anybody following your tote place or placpots need their heads looked. You follow??
Good morning all really fancy HAZY TOM in the 2.20 at Warwick and he was forecast 2nd fav behind Cantlow. Unfortunately when I have looked the market seems to have it spot on with Hazy Tom an 11/8 shot and Cantlow (interesting JP McManus purchase) 5/2. NO BETS for me today now . I will be disappointed if Hazy Tom can't see off Cantlow over 2m
