Excellent EW stick, good day for you. Got decent place money on Montjess myself was it you who tipped that up last time I know I nicked it from someone?

That lad AP's done it again in the last. That horse wasn't going to win without that magical jockey. Superb.

Default Monday 1st July Daily Thread

The 8.00 at Windsor tomorrow night isn't the greatest race ever staged at my local track and it could be worth taking a chance on the Tom Dascombe trained MONTJESS @ 8-1. First time in a handicap and now has a visor applied for the first time. It could very well be that a little punt will take place.

Thanks Stick, though no great insight on my part. Have a fairly tenuous connection to the owner of this one and got the nod that they thing this one could be ok. Pleased for the owner to be honest cos he's had most of his horses with Donald McCain and they're mostly ****e.

Think you can almost back him blind on handicappers at the minute. Did you see the big unit he was on in the novice hurdle? Blimey that thing could pull a barge

Rally The Troops - horse with a good run in a fair bumper, and form from P2Ps. He is a massive unit of a horse, the sort who will come into his own with time and races, especially over fences. It was a typical get the horse fit and handicapped effort today, but when switched to fences and handicaps he could be one to follow.

Excellent tipping, Sticky. There was ‘no bid’ on the winner of that Worcester Seller but anyone see that the winning performance of Jigsaw Financial broke the old course record! That’s something that doesn’t happen every day in plating heats even when the ground is faster than fast.

Stick's one was only 6½L behind Jigsaw Financial carrying 16lb more, and having made a mistake 2 out. So that was a pretty good performance. Also the winner of the previous race was fast for a 4yo making its hurdling début - Crazy.
