Oddy..I'm in for another late night after the MC last night and Dex is desperate for an Obama win. He drifting in the market though....gonna be a boil over with the dyed hair Mormon, who secretly has more wives than Sheikh Mo,coming to the fore late on. F*** help us all.
Boston Bob..what are you talking about with very poor info comment ???? The first horse of the two my source gave me was 2nd at 10/1 so if you put the same stakes on both horses each way you would be in PROFIT !! Ardent...I did the Placepot bet hoping that Cue Card would be unplaced in his race and the last race was trappy and did not expect the favourite to win it or be placed even....if those predictions had occured the dividend would have been far greater than it was ! I gave one pick only in the first race as he was my banker and he won the race at 11/8 ! Each to their own ! Bluesky..a brave win double bet and I know the former was strongly fancied by his Greek trainer....again a Tote Place bet would have kept money in your pocket...not the bookies...just my thoughts on the matter !
First the hedge debacle and now this nonsense. Your maths, Arkle, is abysmal. I will spell it out for you. £10 each way on your two info selections yesterday is £40 bet. Correct? £10 each way on the 10/1 horse that placed returns £30. Correct? £10 each way on the second horse that finished 10th of 12 leads to a loss of £20. Correct? Now, for the tricky bit. A £40 outlay and a £30 return is a £10 loss. Where i grew up a loss is not profit. I said on todays daily thread i wouldn't comment again on your posts unless you are after timing and I think this just about qualifies.
I dannae where ya get ya maths fram Arkle? If ya backed ya two hores e/w to the same stakes,as you said you'd be doon. £10 e/w on Prince Rakan placed @ 10/1 returns £30 so ya have ah £10 profit £10 e/w on Sandy Lane unplaced @9/2 returns £0 so you lose £20 Total loss = -£10 I dannae where ya get ya figures fraim?...I'm always havin ta put ya bets right, just like ya placepot as well.
